The Power of Forgiveness: Free Your Heart

Good afternoon, dear brothers and sisters in Christ. Today, I want to talk about something that's easier said than done, yet vital for our spiritual health and well-being: forgiveness.

You might be thinking, "But you don't know what they did to me!" or "I can't just let it go." And you're right, I don't know your personal struggles. But I do know what the Bible says about forgiveness, and I know the power it holds to transform our lives.

Before we continue to dive deeper into what forgiveness is and what we need to do to let go of the burden in our heart. Let us watch the video below and learn what God Standard says about forgiven others.

Why Forgive?

Firstly, let's remember that we've all fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). We've all needed forgiveness, and through Jesus, we've been freely given it. As forgiven people, we're called to forgive others (Ephesians 4:32).

But forgiveness isn't just a command to obey; it's a gift to ourselves. Harbouring unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. It hurts us more than it hurts them. It's like carrying a heavy backpack of bitterness, resentment, and anger. Forgiveness is the act of setting that backpack down and walking free.

What Forgiveness Isn't

Forgiveness isn't saying that what happened is okay. It isn't excusing the other person's actions. It isn't forgetting what happened or pretending it didn't hurt. And it isn't necessarily reconciling with the person, especially if they're toxic or abusive.

What Forgiveness Is

Forgiveness is a decision to let go of resentment and thoughts of revenge. It's choosing to see the other person as God sees them - flawed, broken, but loved. It's trusting that God will deal with them justly and lovingly.

How to Forgive

  1. Pray: Ask God to soften your heart and help you forgive.
  2. Choose to Forgive: It's a decision, not a feeling. You might need to make this decision daily, or even hourly, at first.
  3. Release the Debt: Imagine the person's sin as a debt they owe you. Forgiveness is cancelling that debt.
  4. Pray for Them: This can be hard, but it helps to change your perspective.
  5. Seek Support: Talk to a trusted friend, pastor, or counsellor about your struggle.

The Benefits of Forgiveness

Forgiveness leads to freedom, peace, and joy. It improves our mental and physical health. It restores our relationship with God and others. It allows us to move forward, unshackled from the past.

Remember, forgiveness is a journey, not a destination. It might take time, and that's okay. Keep choosing to forgive, and keep trusting God with your pain.

In conclusion, let's remember Jesus' words on the cross: "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." (Luke 23:34). If Jesus could forgive his executioners, surely we can forgive those who've wronged us.

Let's choose forgiveness, and in doing so, choose freedom.

Why Training Your Child in God's Way Pays Off

Imagine a young tree, newly planted, vulnerable to the elements. With proper nurturing, watering, and sunlight, it grows into a mighty tree, firmly rooted, bearing luscious fruits, and providing shade to all who seek it. Your child is like that tree, and you, as a parent, are the gardener.

Proverbs 22:6 offers a profound piece of wisdom: "Train your child in Almighty God's way, when he or she grows up, he will not depart from it." This isn't just a verse; it's a promise, a blueprint for successful parenting.

Here's why you should embrace it:

Before we dive into those benefits of training your child in God's way. Let us watch the two short videos below of a little boy used by Holy Spirit to speak to those parent who cares to listen and another boy trained to worship the devil before going out.

1. A Compass for Life

Training your child in God's way is like equipping them with a compass. It provides a moral framework that guides their decisions and actions. In a world filled with distractions and temptations, this compass will help them navigate through life's challenges.

2. Strong Roots

A child trained in God's way develops strong roots. They grow up knowing they are loved, valued, and have a purpose. These roots anchor them in tough times, making them resilient and steadfast.

3. A Light for the Future

By introducing your child to God's way, you're handing them a light for their future. They'll learn to treat others with kindness, respect, and compassion. They'll understand the value of honesty, integrity, and humility. These traits will make them a beacon of hope and positivity wherever they go.

4. A Wise Investment

Every parent wants their child to be successful. Training them in God's way is a wise investment. It's not about forcing beliefs but nurturing a relationship with God. This investment pays off in the long run, as they grow into well-rounded, responsible adults.

5. A Promise to Hold On To

The best part? The promise that "when he or she grows up, he will not depart from it." This promise isn't about perfection, but direction. It's about knowing that despite life's ups and downs, your child will always find their way back to the path you've taught them.

So, dear parent, don't leave this responsibility to chance, or to others. Don't assume your child will learn these values elsewhere. Be intentional. Be the gardener who attends to their sapling with love, care, and God's wisdom.

Remember, it's not just about raising good kids; it's about nurturing little seeds that grow into mighty trees. Trees that bear fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Trees that make the world a better place.

Start today. Train your child in God's way. Watch them grow. And see the promise unfold.

Time To Make A Decision

Brethren, if you are still living in SIN then you need Jesus Christ in your life who has the power to secure your salvation today because tomorrow may be too late. Therefore if you are ready to accept JESUS CHRIST into your life and be saved from Hell fire (i.e. A place originally prepared for Satan and his fallen angels who are his demons work force) then say this simple prayers with me.

"
I come to you Lord Jesus. I know I am a sinner. Please forgive me all my sins. I repent and renounce them all. I accept you today as my Lord and my Savior. Wash me with the Blood you shed for me on the Cross of Calvary. Write my name in the book of life and erase my name from the book of death and I promised to serve you with the rest of my life. Thank You Lord Jesus. In Jesus name I pray. Amen".

Join a bible believing church where they worship the Lord Jesus Christ IN TRUTH and IN SPIRIT and their preaching focuses on SALVATION,  RIGHTEOUSNESS  and HOLINESS of God because God is a spirit and he is HOLY, therefore without Holiness no one can please God.

Please avoid churches where they worship materials things of this world and not focusing on how to make you prepared and enter the Kingdom of God  (e.g. "where the pastor glorify and honor members with big cars, big tithe payment etc than honoring God Almighty")....Run away from such church, they will lead you to hell fire.

Please read your bible everyday and maintain this new life in Christ Jesus till death or till the second coming of Christ Jesus and it is certain that you will be among the qualified candidate of the Kingdom of God and you will reign with Christ Jesus at the end of time.

Thanking you for your attention.

The word of God says "I must do the work of He that sent me, whiles it is still day".

Share this gospel of Christ Jesus as you are led by the spirit of God, till the last person receives it.

God will bless you as you do this in Jesus name.

Is Your Church Kingdom of God Focused?

In a world often fixated on size and numbers, the true essence of a church often gets obscured. The question, "How big is your church?" seems straightforward, but its answer delves deeper than mere physical dimensions or headcounts.

A church's greatness is not measured by the size of its congregation or the grandeur of its architecture, but rather by the depth of its spiritual commitment and adherence to the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Pls take your time to watch the two important videos below before you continue reading the article.

=========

It's not uncommon to find churches boasting of hundreds, even thousands of members, yet when examined closely, only a fraction truly embody the teachings of Christ in their daily lives. Conversely, a smaller congregation may shine brightly with a core group of devout followers who earnestly seek to live out the principles of love, compassion, and righteousness as exemplified by Jesus Christ.

Scripture reminds us that not everyone who says "Lord, Lord" will enter the kingdom of heaven, but those who do the will of the Father. Thus, it's the quality of discipleship, not the quantity, that determines a church's true greatness.

Imagine a church of 500 members, but only a handful actively pursue a life of discipleship, embodying the teachings of Jesus in their thoughts, words, and actions. In contrast, a humble gathering of 30 individuals, fervently devoted to living out Christ's commandments, shines brightly in the eyes of God.

The parable of the mustard seed reminds us that greatness often arises from the smallest of beginnings. A mustard seed, though tiny, grows into a large tree where birds find shelter. Similarly, a small but dedicated community of believers can have a profound impact on the world around them, spreading the light of Christ through their love, kindness, and unwavering faith.

As we ponder the question "How big is your church?" let us not be swayed by outward appearances or numerical figures, but instead, let us focus on cultivating a deep, authentic relationship with Christ and living out his teachings in our daily lives. For it is not the size of our congregation that matters, but the depth of our commitment to following the way of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and thee are the qualified candidate for the KINGDOM OF GOD when occur to take the righteous home.
